Mission Statement

Parent Company is an artist-run exhibition space founded in 2023 by Ada Potter. The project’s goal is to support artists through exhibition opportunities, public programs, and events. Parent Company seeks to foster a community of artists and art workers and facilitate a dynamic dialogue around art that is fundamentally inclusive and supportive. The project aims to redraw the boundaries around art to include more space, more people, and more ways of thinking and talking about art.

Basement Rental

Parent Company is offering its basement space for rent to artists and curators interested in hosting exhibitions, events, or performances.

This opportunity is well-suited for nomadic curatorial projects, galleries based outside of New York City, or local galleries seeking a temporary satellite space. The space is reserved for the Studio Residency Program from June through September, but available to rent for the rest of the year.
